24: The Matilda Chronicles

I was going through some papers and found the notes I took before Matilda was born.

The following events take place between 3am August 3, 2008 and 4am August 4, 2008:

1. Kristin feels what she thinks is the start of labor at 3am.
2. Matt gets the heads up that baby is on the way at 7am.
3. Contractions are fairly speedy and regular from the start, at around 3 minutes in between.
4. Arrive at CPMC at 4:40pm and seen by Nurse Chelan.
5. Go home after observation at 6:35pm.
6. Kristin quickly decides that we are headed back, and we arrive at CPMC at 7:35pm.
7. Nurse Joy taks us up to the delivery room on the 2nd floor.
8. Saline IV starts at 8:25pm.
9. Dr. Chang, the anesthesiologist, starts Kristin's epidural at 8:45pm.
10. Kristin begins pushing at 1:51am.
11. Matilda Cole Smart is born at 3:41am.
