Halloween card

Mati's cousins sent a Halloween card. It quickly became one of Mati's favorite things to carry around.

Here we are again about a year after our first family photo. Matilda sure has grown. I think Matt and I look the same, just more experienced and well rested. It's been a good year.

She still falls a lot, with or without shoes, but is improving her walking skills.

Matilda loves her cube toy thing. She hasn't yet figured out how to put the pieces in, but she loves to carry them around.

According to her shirt, it's Mati! Thanks, Grandma, for the Mati shirt and cute pants. Matilda seems to like them a lot.

14 months old

Matilda celebrated her 14th birthday (that's months) by cheering on her mom and friends during the Bridge to Bridge, a race from the Bay to Golden Gate.

Finger foods

Besides grapes, Mati enjoys eating sweet potatoes. Of course, one in each hand.

Weigh in

Matilda weighs in at just over twenty pounds with bunny in hand.

Bedtime story

Matilda now loves to read. She is great at carrying books, turning pages, and learning about sheep and bunnies.

Today, she saw a bunny at the Randall Museum and was very excited.
