Say ahhhh

When feeding Matilda, it's not a good idea to put food in her mouth before a sneeze.

I thought she was opening her mouth to take a bite. Instead, the spoonful ended up all over me.

Ice cream

Although the right consistency, Matilda will have to wait a bit longer before she enjoys her first ice cream cone.

Toes & teeth

Matilda went barefoot during the few days of 90 degree weather.

Here she shows off her toes and teeth. The bottom two teeth are just starting to come in.

Jogging stroller

Matilda likes her new jogging stroller.

There is also lots of room for her to grow into it.

At some point, we may even actually use it for jogging.

Clean baby

Just following a bath, Matt gets a pic of squeaky clean Matilda.

Fish

Matilda enjoyed looking at the colorful fish at the aquarium.

I took the pics with Mati in the carrier. You can see the silhouette of her head as she watches the fish swim by.

Monkey

Matilda is our little monkey.

Grandpa Joe

Grandma feeds Matilda some delicious squash and oatmeal cereal. Yummy! Mati seems to like everything thus far, although she is a bit unsure of avocados and spinach.

New cousin

While in Florida, Matilda learns that she will have a new cousin this fall. Congratulations to my little sister, Jen.

Plane to Florida

On our way to Florida, Matt wrangled Matilda as she found her chosen toy for the plane ride -- the air sickness bag.

Although she did not need to use it, she liked chewing on the plastic coated bag. On the plane ride home, her first tooth finally cut through.

Berry sweet

With or without bunny ears, Matilda is so berry sweet.

Sunglasses

Before leaving for Florida, Matilda tries on her sunglasses.

After the photo, Mati decides that she prefers to chew on the glasses rather than wear them.

Although I did pack them, she did not wear them at all in Florida.

Florida

We just returned from a trip to Florida where we celebrated Grandpa Joe's birthday.

Matt, Matilda, and I enjoyed spending time with our families. It was great to see everyone.
